Young Voices 2019

Well done to our fabulous Key Stage 2 choir who travelled to the Genting Arena to take part in the largest school choir in the world - Young Voices.  They sang alongside over 6000 children from across the country, and made us all very proud.

The afternoon was rehearsal time, with the internationally acclaimed conductor, David Lawrence, who made sure that we all knew how to perform to a huge audience!  Then after tea, parents and families joined us to share in the performance.

We were lucky to perform alongside, and support Tony Hadley from Spandeau Ballet, Sharlene Hector (lead singer of Basement Jaxx) and Beau Dermott (from Britain’s Got Talent.)  Highlights of the night included songs from The Greatest Showman, and Viva la Vida, and stunning dance performances from Urban Strides.

Our children showed great commitment to learning and performing in the build up to this event, and we are very grateful to all of the families who came to support us on the night.  A special thank you to Miss Deans and Miss Harvey for all of the hard work they put into making this happen for our children.
