Remembrance

As part of their topic work on 'Britain at War', Year 6 performed a remembrance service in Mount Pleasant Chapel. The children sang songs, recited war poems and read their own compositions based on life in the trenches. The children performed for the rest of the school and for grandparents. They demonstrated our school value of respect and performed with dignity and pride.

In lessons they learnt about the importance of remembering those who sacrificed their own lives so we could be free.
